Dr. Brenda Damiani, Senior Consultant
Brenda Damiani, senior consultant at TeamWorks, has a proven track record in driving transformative change at both district and school levels. Her dedication to improve outcomes for students is what drives her partnership-based approach in leadership development, coaching, and facilitation. She is grounded in the belief that creating a learning environment where all students thrive requires partnership and intentional, collaborative design.
Brenda brings more than 25 years of experience as a teacher, principal, academic leader and district leader in both suburban and rural school districts. Most recently, she served as the Assistant Superintendent at Cambridge-Isanti Schools. She also served as principal of Cambridge-Isanti High School and Director of Teaching and Learning in the district. Prior to her service in Cambridge-Isanti, Brenda worked as a teacher, gifted coordinator, grant writer, and assistant principal in Robbinsdale Schools and as a special education teacher in Richfield Schools.
Brenda holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Social Studies Education, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction, and Doctorate in Educational Leadership. During her tenure as CIHS Principal, she was named Central Division Principal of the Year. Additionally, she served on the Professional Development Committee and as a mentor for MASA. Her areas of research included organizational trust and leadership development.
Brenda adheres to the concept of “life balance”, where work plays a meaningful role in a balanced life. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling to new destinations, cooking with her dinner group, boating on the lake, and reading every day.
